Description
Seitan Limania beach is located 22km northeast of Chania, on the east side of Acrotiri Cape. It is a narrow canal surrounded by sea cliffs, with a small port of white sand, pebbles and transparent vivid blue water. All these, along with its isolation from populated areas makes it an extraordinary place to visit.
We reach Seitan Limania area, and then you hike to go down to the beach for twenty minutes. The beach is not organized and does not have umbrellas so make sure you get a hat and sun cream!
After this we will go for lunch to a local restaurant and taste the traditional Cretan Kitchen.
Our next stop is Venizelos Graves, with the best panoramic view of Chania. The grave of Eleftherios Venizelos is located there, as he is considered one of the greatest political leaders in Greece.
An additional option is to visit the 17th century Monastery of Agia Triada and admire its marvelous artifacts, woodcrafts and paintings or do a wine tour.
