Description
Knossos is the heart of the Minoan civilisation, the first civilization in Europe. The religious complex / palace used to be a thriving city in 2000BC. I will transfer you from Chania to Knossos at Heraklio with 1-2 stops for 2, 5 hours, visit Knossos and then drive to the archaeological museum. You will spend an hour at each place, then walk at Heraklio pedestrianised center and visit a few landmarks. We will have lunch for an hour and then drive back to Chania for around 2, 5 hours.
I am not licenced to guide inside Knossos. I could try optionally to book a guide, but due to their limited numbers and number of requests it is very difficult to find one. Please message me for such request.
Itinerary
•Drive for 2, 5 hours from Chania to Knossos with a stop.
•Tour Knossos for an hour.
•Drive for 30 minutes to the archaeological museum and visit it for an hour.
•Walk at Heraklio pedestrianised center for an hour and see the landmarks.
•Eat at a nearby restaurant for an hour.
•Drive for 2, 5 hours back to Chania.
